The Czech Republic’s “Operational Programme Fisheries 2007–2013” was drawn up in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 1198/2006 of 27 July 2006 on the European Fisheries Fund and Commission Regulation (EC) No 498/2007 of 26 March 2007 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 1198/2006 on the European Fisheries Fund (EFF).
The OP Fisheries aims to define areas of the fisheries sector that could be subsidised and to ensure that all measures adopted in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 1198/2006 on the European Fisheries Fund (EFF) pursue the general objectives stipulated in Article 33 of the Treaty establishing the European Community and the objectives defined in the EU Common Fisheries Policy.
The Czech Government approved the National Strategic Plan for Fisheries 2007–2013 under Government Resolution No 854/2007 and the Operational Programme Fisheries 2007–2013 under Government Resolution No 855/2007 of 25 July 2007.
